# Moira - good job with autopilot limitations - stated harder to stall at higher weight - I would recommend working on explanation of maneuvering speed - asked about aft CG, stated that it would give better performance - I would practice explanation a little bit here - good job with inoperative equipment - remember that the low volts annunciator will come on below 24.5 volts - especially with planes that people fly a lot, it is recommended not to push the ALT FIELD circuit breaker back in because you will not be sure how many people have done the same thing - the alternator in the 172 is not a self propelling alternator and therefore requires electricity to produce more, this is due to the electromagnet that requires a charge - this is what the ALT FIELD circuit breaker does, it provides the exciting current to the alternator which in turn allows the alternator to produce power - in the fuel system, remember that a good portion of the unusable fuel is meant to sit in the bottom of the tanks - pre-ignition will show spiked EGT, while detonation will will show low EGT - if you have no drop whatsoever when switching to one magneto this could mean that the magneto is not disconnecting properly and still firing -> you would want to take precautions on the ground because if someone were to turn the prop the engine could turn on because the magneto could be engaged when the switch is in the off position - this would mean that one magneto is not grounded properly - 2 hour day / night cross country is a requirement for commercial not instrument rating - continue to review 141/61 requirements
