# Recheck Required
- [ ] Emergency Procedures (Engine Failure)
- [ ] Ground Reference Maneuver (Turns around a Point)
- [ ] Situational Awareness
# General Notes
- elected to do cold start procedure just after engine had flown
- make sure you practice doing thorough passenger briefing -> you want to speak as if you are with someone who has no experience being in small airplanes and always brief what to do in an emergency
- did run up with mixture leaned -> noticed after run up and then did run up again
- did not use trim at any point during traffic patterns / approaches but did use trim when going out to practice area / maneuvering
# Preflight
- good job
# Weight and Balance
- good job
# Performance Charts
- good job
# Checklist Usage
- good job
# Radio Communications
- occasionally would not read back callsign with radio calls
# Crosswind Taxi
- good job
# Normal/Crosswind Takeoff and Climb
## Attempt 1
- good job with takeoff roll
- instructed to fly runway heading, tracked a little bit to the right because did not have enough right rudder applied during climb
- when instructed to turn crosswind we were on heading 265 (runway 25 upwind)
## Attempt 2
- tracked to the right of the centerline on the upwind
- takeoff roll good
## Attempt 3
- takeoff roll good
- tracked to the right of the centerline on the upwind
# Normal/Crosswind Approach and Landing
## Attempt 1
- missed radio call to turn base
- overshot final turn
- did not add nose down trim when adding flaps
- touchdown good
## Attempt 2
- did not set trim when adding flaps
- slightly flat touchdown (still on main landing gear first)
## Attempt 3
- reduced power abeam 2,000 ft markers with intention to touch down at 500 foot markers
- touchdown good
# Use of Trim
- did not use in traffic pattern, used for the rest of the flight properly
# Collision Avoidance
- good job
# Maneuvering During Slow Flight
- made position report -> stated we were on the northwest shore when we were on the northeast shore, called as 254108
- heading deviation 11 degrees during entry
- airspeed deviation +10 knots
- not enough right rudder
# Stall
- made position report -> stated we were on the north shore of lake apopka when we were on the south shore
- aggressively brought nose down to about -10 degrees
# Spin awareness / recovery procedures
- good job
# BAI
- good job
- good job bugging heading and altitude
# GPS Direct to / Nearest
- good job
# 180 degree turn
- good job
# Emergency Operations
- ==**did not verify checklist items**==
- selected good field, but would have been too high to land at it
# Ground Reference Maneuver
- turns around a point
- chose to go over populated area
# Traffic Patterns
## Attempt 1
- tracked right of centerline on upwind
- turned due north for crosswind turn
- did not use trim at any point
- incroaching on centerline during downwind
## Attempt 2
- tracking right of centerline during upwind
## Attempt 3
- slightly off on headings
# Go Around / Rejected Landing
- good job
