- Radio Communications
# Recheck Items from Previous Progress Check
- Engine Failure
- Landings
# Notes
- did not put seatbelt on properly (about 1 foot of slack on lap belt)
- did not retract flaps before taxiing
- we do not have a minimum requirement of 35 gallons to fly, we only require 1 hour of fuel reserve
- started climb above 1300 1 mile after crossing the powerlines
- remember, you should be at 1700 below the 2,000 shelf, and then climb up after crossing the powerlines
- coming back to KORL, was at 1,000 feet MSL before entering into delta
## Engine Failure
- did memory items before picking best field
- did not look for airports or use direct to function
- was on the east shore of lake apopka, picked fiel on southeast shore that could work, but did not put himself in the position to approach and land, turned basically on top of the field
### Go Around
- held pitch level until I prompted him to pitch up
## Return to Airport
- struggled many times to go direct to the airport (kept pressing enter instead of direct button)
- was not able to communicate intentions to orlando executive tower
- pattern was full, suggested that we go to leesburg to do the landings
## Landings
### Attempt 1 (KLEE)
- good decision to go around, was too high
- ==**retracted flaps while descending in the go around and called tower while still descending towards the runway**==
### Attempt 2 (KLEE)
- good job
### Attempt 3 (KLEE)
- good job
### Attempt 4 (KORL)
- good job
