# Basic Instrument Flight Maneuvers
- ==**altitude +200 during arc**==
- ==**did not program autopilot properly and gained more than 300 feet while proceeding to CERMO**==
- ==**airspeed +20**==
# Intercepting and Tracking
- good job
# Intercepting and Tracking DME Arcs
- instructed to arc north 15 DME from orlando vortac (starting on 270 radial westbound)
- started turn to intercept (90 degree intercept angle) at 14.9 DME
- ==**altitude +200 feet during arc**== (basic instrument flight maneuvers tolerance +/- 150 feet)
- ==**15 DME arc reached distance of 16.2**== (DME tolerance +/- 1nm)
# Holding Procedures
## Hold 1
![[Pasted image 20250515154508.png]]
- instructed to hold SE 330 radial 15 DME from orlando VORTAC with left hand turns from the previous arc
- used about a 15 degree intercept angle for parallel entry which worked because of crosswind pushing back towards inbound course and because he did not wind correct outbound so was being pushed away from inbound leg when flying outbound during the parallel entry
- altitude +140 feet
- ==**airspeed +20 knots**==
## Hold 2
- instructed to hold as published at CERMO
- entry was correct, otherwise good
# Compliance with Departure Procedures
- good job
# Recovery from Unusual Flight Attitudes
- good job
# Loss of Primary Flight Instrument
- good job declaring emergency for AHRS failure
- remember not to tell ATC that you are partial panel but instead indicate the specific instruments you have lost and primarily get across the importance of the situation
- ATC probably will not understand what you mean by saying "partial panel"
