# General Notes
- make sure you *always* read back landing clearance, there were a few times when you just read back the runway number, you always want to be very clear stating "cleared touch and go runway x" so that if you misunderstood what the controller said they can correct you
# Pilotage and Dead Reckoning / Navigation Systems and Radar Services
- initially started timing when finishing run up in the east practice area but then decided to reset it until cleared for takeoff
- ended up starting timer after takeoff about 4 miles from the airport
- came very close to scattered cloud layer
# Diversion
- utilized autopilot in pitch mode
- it eventually captured our altitude (1700 feet) but keep in mind that this could lead to you deviating off of your altitude
- you always want to go FD first, make sure the autopilot is programmed in the way that you want and then activate it
- recommend you go to a higher altitude during the diversion when the sky cleared up above you
# Lost Procedures
- good job
# Takeoffs / Landings
## Normal Takeoff
## Normal Landing
- touchdown point third centerline stripe
- very high on first attempt, went around
- second attempt touched down about 195 feet past touchdown point
## Soft Field Takeoff
- slightly excessive nose up pitch
## Soft Field Landing
- very high on first attempt, went around
- second attempt good
## Short Field Takeoff
## Short Field Landing
- ==**about 350-400 feet long**==
## Power off 180
- a few feet short
- started maneuver on 1.3 mile downwind (wider than the other downwinds that you flew)
- turned base late
- no flaps barely made it to the runway but was able to make it float to just short of the touchdown point
## Go Around
- chose to do go around when not stabilized on normal landing, good decision
- executed safely
- ==**climbed back up to pattern altitude at 85-90 knots**==
# Steep Turns
- ==**left hand turn held at just under 45 degrees for a while**==
# Steep Spiral
# Chandelles
- be careful not to rapidly increase power when entering into maneuver
- did not disable ESP so autopilot engaged
- second attempt good job
# Lazy Eights
# Eights on Pylons
# Slow Flight
- landing configuration (50 knots target)
- ==**airspeed down to 44 knots and up to 61 knots**==
- altitude good
- headings good
# Power off Stall
# Power on Stall
# Accelerated Stall
- good job
# Emergency Descent
# Emergency Approach and Landing
# Systems and Equipment Malfunctions
